Job description
Our client is part of a National Hotel Company seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Regional Area Revenue Manager to join their revenue management team, based commutable to Oxfordshire, therefore you can commute from nearby counties, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Bedfordshire, Wiltshire etc with home working 2 days a week, This company will look at candidates outside of Hospitality eg: Car hire, Airlines etc…
The Property
Hybrid role: 60% office / client based and 40% Home Based (2 days a week from home)
Branded property’s across the UK
Managing a large portfolio of hotels 35 plus
Reporting directly to the Head of Revenue
This company will look at candidates outside of Hospitality eg: Car hire, Airlines etc

The Regional Area Revenue Manager will
Ensure maximization of total revenue generation through utilization and analysis of effective revenue & rate management techniques.
Hold fortnightly reviews with your Revenue Managers to review tactical activities and to ensure hotels Revenues are optimised
Motivate, coach and development of your Revenue Managers
Provide leadership and direction to your Revenue Team of 6/7
Set strategy with your Head of Revenue and create outputs which drive performance, short, medium and long term etc
Attend working groups representing revenue to drive initiatives and tasks
As Regional Area Revenue Manager you will have
Excellent People Management skills as you will be managing a team of 6/7 Revenue Managers
Great Strategy and Analytics experience as you will be working closely with your Head of Revenue
Great stakeholder Collaboration, working closely with Sales, Operations and Hotel Managers
Excellent Reporting experience, presenting data-backed strategy and forecasts concisely to the senior leadership team
Excellent commercial acumen from any sector Hospitality, car hire, airlines etc
Great leadership and communication skills
Great organisational, planning, numerical and analytical ability
Be accountable and resilient
Agility to respond to different work situations
Great support from the Head of Revenue
